1508 S. Street House
Amy and Doug, a real estate couple from Franklin, TN, contact my architecture firm where I worked as a young 27 year old designer, and asked to have a luxury town home created for their stay whenever they visited Nashville. The plan for the real estate couple was to have a luxury home to entertain for evets on the weekend such as football games, company parties and concerts. In the off season the upper floors and lower floors can double as an Airbnb for renting to guests.

At three stories, the more than 4,000 sf of residential space, the luxury town home boasts 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and a passenger elevator.
The unique design of the home places the living room and state of the art kitchen on the top floor. The roof top is accessible and allows for residents to experience views of the historic neighborhood as well as views to Vanderbilt University.
The unique exterior of the home is inspired by the historic context of its surroundings. Ornate brick patterns are employed however the minimalist blech white walls give the home a contemporary feel.
