Ultimately, pencil drawing from an artist’s perspective is not about decoration or flourish. It is about searching for honesty and harmony. I’ve been drawing since I was 3 years old. My first work was an orange crayon work on my mother’s kitchen wall. I’ve been trying to duplicate that master piece ever since. What you may notice about my works, particularly in Leaves, is that I enjoy contrast and technically poignant drawings.​​
