Pay Day Short Film

Two underpaid loan clerks plot to steal from their own corrupt company, but when fear, guilt, and hidden motives collide, their “easy money” scheme exposes just how costly desperation can be.
On Set Lighting Test


Ben Martin (cinematographer) sets key lights and colored tube lights to mimic the hue and saturation of the pay day loan store 30 miles away.
Large bounce boards are set up by the gaffer and DP to diffuse the light and create a balanced look to illuminate the talent within the car.

The production shoot for the EZ Loan store was shot at Warren Studios in Nashville Tennessee. Measurements were taken for the production design.

Props, Signs and Details were designed and incorporated to create the illusion of workers and customers withing a working pay day loan store.

The Hermitage Bakery located in Hermitage, TN served as the backdrop for the pay day loan store. The stie was transformed into a Pay Day loan store with the help of a talented team.

CGI Artists, Photoshop design in combination of practical effects and design hep create the appearance of pay day loan store that has been in the community for years.
Behind The Scenes

Day 2 - The Backlot Set - Cast
Jia Gay, Peyton Delwig, Greg Johnson and Stephani Wilson pose for a picture between takes on set. Lights were adjusted between takes and cameras were repositioned to increase coverage on the actors.

Day 2- The Backlot Set - Taylor
Actor and Model, Peyton Delwig, who plays Taylor, the fiery and brash brains behind the heist poses for a picture and the bumper of her car.
Actors were encouraged to give input on details as to what they believed their character would chose such as bumper sticks, car decorations and costume.

Day 3- The Backlot - Jia and Tyrone
Director, Tyrone Bunyon Jr. and actress Jia gay pose for a picture between takes. The short film was shot in four locations over the course of three days in Nashville, TN.
